My name is Sally Xerri-Brooks and I am a writer.
Passionate about cracking stories, three dimensional characters and unexpected plots, I have written fiction (and non-fiction) in a variety of forms.
My short story, Downpour, was longlisted in the International Rubery Book Award in 2012.
My first novel, published by Blue Bear Books in 2013, was Four Movements: 50 years, four people, one piano – a four part tale of life and love, spanning from the 1950s to the present.
My short story, The Affair, was featured in Queer Episodes, published by Little Episodes in 2013.
In 2017 my non-fiction writing was featured in Pride and Joy: a Guide to LGBT Parenting.
My second novel, published by Blue Bear Books, was published in November 2017, Her Shadow – a story of love, loss and politics.
